Tracy's creations are a treasure hunt to find the mystery and beauty of the Gourd hidden beneath the layers.

It's similiar to how life unfolds before us and the choices we make. I choose to transform those things that may, on the surface, appear awful and unlovely into something uplifting and beautiful. I equate gourd art to the versatile nature of people, always changing, always unfolding, and always discovering something new.

Sun Flower Pendant "I don't think there's anything on this planet that more trumpets life than the sunflower. For me that's because of the reason behind its name. Not because it looks like the sun but because it follows the sun. During the course of the day, the head tracks the journey of the sun across the sky. A satellite dish for sunshine. 	Sun Gourdess She is one of the first style of Gourdesses I made! She's been updated by adding another piece of gourd to give her a mask and she's wearing a beautiful hand crafted necklace using the knotless netting technique. As with all my Gourdesses, she has a beautiful voice made from dried beans and/or rice. She stands 9" high to the top of her headress and 5 1/2" wide. The stand is included. $53.00

Sun Pendant The sun has long been a symbol of vitality, eternal renewal, truth and light. I used a combination of acrylics and Dr. Ph Martin's Hydrus watercolors (the background). The sun is colored with both orange and 14K gold acrylic paint giving it depth.The pendant is approximately 2" by 2". It's strung on a 24" black satin cord. $25.00

	Butterfly Pendant Did you know that butterflies represent change and transformation? This beautiful pendant was painted using acrylics and Dr. Ph. Martins Watercolors.
