Meditation Techniques

If there is one thing I always tell my clients is to find the time and meditate. Most lead very busy lives but at some point everyone needs to slow down. The following mediation technique is one that I teach everyone, and for most of my clients it works really well. But with all things, we need to find exactly what works for us. For one of my clients it's jogging for another it's sitting on the beach and for me it's laying down before I go to bed at night. Whichever you choose just remember it's your time to slow down and get rid of all the junk that you don't need to carry around with you.

For this you can sit or lay down. Make sure you are in a quiet place where you will not be disturbed for about 15 minutes.

Close your eyes and relax everything in your body. Start from the top of your head to your jaw, release your stomach, all the way down to your legs.

Imagine a huge white light coming down in front of you. It opens up all around you. There is a woorlwind around it ready to suck into it anything that gets close enough, but it doesn't effect you. What you feel is a warm breeze.

Imagin all of the negativity or anything you want to get rid of welling up in your hand. You can actually feel it leaving your body and forming a ball.

Throw this ball into the light as hard as you can. Keep throwing these balls into the light telling the light what it is. Throw as hard as you can until you feel it is all gone.

Ask God to take it back and it is nothing you can handle anymore and to please fix it. Take a deep breath and let it all go.

One you have let it go, imagine the light closing up and returning above. You are at peace.

Do this as many times a day that you need to.
